The American Albanian Islamic Center of Wisconsin is a non-profit association that represents the Muslims in the Kenosha, Racine and Milwaukee along with other neighboring cities. It was established in Kenosha, Wisconsin in 1979 with 25 members who immigrated from Europe to meet the needs of our growing Albanian Islamic community Alhamdulillah we have grown tremendously since then and continue to see an increase in our congregation.
The association practices and conducts religious, social, cultural, and educational activities at the American Albanian Islamic Center of Wisconsin, to serve the people of the Islamic faith throughout Southeastern Wisconsin. The mission was and still is to preserve and promote Albanian culture, traditions, and history through various initiatives and social events in Wisconsin.
AAICW welcomes all Muslims from all ethnic backgrounds. One of the goals of the Society is to promote unity among Muslims and deepen their feeling of brotherhood. Towards that goal, the Islamic Center holds congregational prayers, teaching circles, educational programs, and social activities. The Islamic Center provides Muslims and non-Muslims with advice and information about Islam. The American Albanian Islamic Center of Wisconsin is open to all and does not make any
distinction based on denomination or sects

Bordi i Drejtorëve të Qendrës Islame Shqiptare Amerikane të Wisconsin-it Sigurisht që udhëzimi i Allahut - ky është udhëzimi i përsosur.
The B.O.D at A.A.I.C.W, have a obligation to act with integrity, it is our responsible for administering the day-to-day affairs of A.A.I.C.W, taking care of and maintaining A.A.I.C.W’s, facilities and properties, managing expenses as approved by the B.O.D, and performing such acts that may be necessary for achieving the goals, vision and overall objectives of A.A.I.C.W.
Qualifications: Members running for the office of the B.O.D must have adequate time (approx. 10-20 hours per week), dedication, and skills to be able to devote to the work in a volunteer capacity to fulfill the objectives. The members must exhibit necessary leadership and communication skills and a lack of desire for the title, but a strong desire for the work. The members must also have the ability to present ideas in a balanced and egalitarian way and maintain the ability to compromise when necessary.
Eligibility: Candidates for the Board of Directors must be: A) Good law-abiding legal resident and Muslims who believe in the Quran and Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) as the last Prophet and his teachings as the guiding principles. B) General body member in good standing and active member of A.A.I.C.W
When the center was established, By-laws were created which guide and regulate the affairs of the center.
A.A.I.C.W, has Ten (10) Board of Directors and one Youth Coordinator (B.O.D) that are elected to office by the General Body members. The current Board of Directors elected are:

The AAICW Islamic Weekend School is a school of the American Albanian Islamic Center of Wisconsin, located in 6001 88th Avenue, Kenosha, Wisconsin 53142. It strives to serve the Muslim Community of Kenosha and surrounding areas. The school is a 1-Day a week program with classes in Islamic History, Islamic Studies, and the Quran. Student may be enrolled either in a Saturday program or a Sunday program. The AAICW Program is a Weekend School and the school is at the AAICW, located 6001 88th Avenue, Kenosha, Wisconsin 53142. It strives to serve the Muslim of Kenosha, Racine and Milwaukee along with other neighboring cities.
